RAJAPACK UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, aligning the Bedfordshire-based packaging distributor with the RAJA Group’s brand across Europe. The company said it supplies over 43,000 UK businesses and has served the UK market since 1998.

RAJA UK is part of the RAJA Group, which was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher. The group takes its name from the founders’ first names. According to the company, using the group name gives customers one recognisable brand across the 19 European countries it serves.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the change does not affect what customers rely on: the same people, the same product range and the same next-day service.

The company also highlighted the approach of Black Friday on 27 November, a peak trading period the new tool is designed to help customers plan for.

Free peak-planning tool

Alongside the rebrand, RAJA UK has introduced a free Prepare for Peak tool designed to help businesses estimate the cost of their busiest weeks and identify potential savings. The tool is intended as a planning aid for packing operations before the peak trading period.

Users select their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak. The benchmarks combine Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. Users then enter their own figures, such as the number of parcels packed per day and the number of people packing.

The output is an illustrative estimate rather than a quotation, the company said. It is not presented as a firm price.

Brand consistency across markets

The shift from Rajapack UK to RAJA UK brings the UK business under the same name used by the wider group in Europe. For existing customers, the company says the practical offer remains unchanged, while the new name creates a single identity across markets.

The tool is aimed at the weeks before peak trading, when packing teams plan staffing, packaging stocks and budgets. RAJA UK describes the estimate as illustrative, not a quotation.

RAJA UK’s tool does not forecast a specific company’s peak or guarantee savings. It combines sector-level benchmarks with user inputs to produce an estimate. The company’s statements about service continuity and customer reach are its own; the tool’s output is described as illustrative rather than a quote.
